A week with almost nothing to report. 


Business has not (predictably) been stressful, though at times better than expected


The only real incident was on Friday evening....By 9pm, the remaining burgers, including the juniorburgers, had been sold.

The orchestra for the Verbier Festival arrived yesterday afternoon. 

This has been a week with almost nothing to report.

Hanski is settling in nicely. Business has not (predictably) been stressful, though at times better than expected. Most of it has been outside seeing the hot summer conditions that we are having.

The only real incident was on Friday evening. Hanski was much busier than anticipated during the daytime and did not mention to Alan (who forgot to check) that we were very low on burgers. By 9pm, the remaining burgers, including the juniorburgers, had been sold. Clients wanting meat after that time had to settle for chickenburgers or nuggets. At least this isn't a busy time of year, so not too many clients were disappointed.

The orchestra for the Verbier Festival arrived yesterday afternoon. Although we seen a few of the old members, most have been very discreet so far.

Ah! We almost forgot. The new steamer is beginning to play up. The on/off switch for the steam is working intermittently and needs replacing. It's been a while since we have had a steamer issue.
