Orchestra barbecue
On Monday, we organised the traditional barbecue
for the orchestra in Alan's garden.
We were under the impression that Iskander would be working this summer.
This time it is the cigarette machine,
Still nothing on the steamer front.

Overall, it has been another fairly uneventful
week as the season has yet to kick in completely. We have had the odd rushes of
kids from the Elfes camp, especially on Friday afternoon, but otherwise nothing
really special. Turnover is around the same as last
year.
On Monday, we organised the traditional barbecue for the orchestra in Alan's garden. Turnout was pretty good, with people drifting in and out all evening. However, we tend to feel that the crowd was not as "silly" as some other years, and the trampoline was not used as much as usual.
We were under the impression that Iskander would be working this summer. However, it appears that either there was a misunderstanding or that a mail did not arrive, but he is unable to come due to exams. It has put us in a bit of a spot, but nothing insurmountable.
Things always go wrong on weekends. This time it is the cigarette machine, that old piece of faithful hardware. The fuse has broken and, of course, we can't get a new one today. Hopefully it has broken through old age, rather than there being a more serious problem.
