Harold's sauce

It's been pretty much business as usual this week
and turnover much the same as last year. The town though does appear to be very
quiet and this weekend many businesses are closing up for the
autumn.
Richie is back from hospital and hobbling around on crutches. He is going to be off sports for some time as his ankle is pretty badly broken. Apparently his accident was due to a missed take-off.
There hasn't been any major catastrophe this week, though we are without the steamer as it is being repaired again. The only minor disaster was yesterday Saturday with Alan preparing the Harold's cocktail sauce. The seal on the final 3 kg back broke just as he was putting it away and there was sauce all over the floor. It took him a good half hour to clean up all the mess as inevitably some found its way into strange and difficult-to-clean places.
