Alan Woolman: the Boss, or as he prefers to call himself, the Team Captain.

Born in 1956 in Basle, Switzerland, but of British parents, this Arian schooled at King's School, Canterbury before doing a year at Southampton University studying Economics and Accountancy. He left to learn the hotel/restaurant trade at Vieux-Bois in Geneva (the town in which he grew up), before moving to Verbier and taking over Harold's in 1979. His natural entrepreunerial instinct has led him to start up various other ventures with differing successes. But Harold's has remained the main business.

Married to Viviane, he has a step-daughter (Gaëlle b. 1988), a son (Sandy b. 1994), and a daughter (Emmy b. 2000). His warped and ironic sense of humour may shock at first, but overall he's pretty tame, and reasonably likeable. Just make sure to tell him to shut up if he gets carried away on one of his pet subjects (computers, business, history, politics, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc...........).

George Russell has decided to become the new anchor for Harold's: For him, it is the perfect place to allow him to fulfill his winter passion of snowboarding and summer fanaticism for downhill biking-

Silvia is the Italian girlfriend of one of our most faithful clients and joined the team this summer. She adds a sweet smiling Italian touch to our otherwise more boisterous staff.
